Wow, we are already into March my Birthday month.

We have finally hit 4K members on the youtube account. I'm so happy we managed to do it before March, It has taken a bit longer then I wanted but I really pushed the content out to get us there.

I currently have been on this Youtube official course to see if i can help grow the channel. But tbh the things they have been telling me we do any way so it's a bit odd.

I have kept up with the indie for Evercade and we have had some carts announced one of them was full of Indie games. (Mega cat 3)

This month i have played even more Indie games and some of them have been unbelievable.

Agent 64 - This is reimagining of Golden eye on the N64. The graphics and gameplay are so good it looks just like we are back in the nineties playing on a crt. They have done a great job with the sound track and the fact its twin sticks makes it so much more playable then the n64 games we grew up on. Still waiting on a release date for this so keep an eye on the channel as you know i will go mad about it.

Cathedral Crow curse - Demo has just dropped. Its great get over to steam and try it for your self. They pace the game well with well timed upgrades to keep you guessing and realiseing that you can go back and get through that part you couldn't before. Difficalty is harder than i first thought it would be but this will also be a day one game once it's out for me. Watch this space.

Replaced - A side scrolling post apocalyptic game. You play as a robot that is trying to save a Human. The pixel graphics and gritty setting make this game look and feel great. Also, the fighting is on par with Batman Arkham series as you have to time the dodge button to get those counters in. Reminds me of an UpToDate Full Void.

Just got home from a great day in Bristol VGE where we hosted a few guests and met the Oliver Twins. I got to meet Frank Gasking who has made this great book all on games that never got released. Little hint there are so many that you didn't know about.

Here we are already in February what the hell!!

I have really been enjoying my videos this month.

I have been playing Clair Obscure Expedition 33 on the Xbox as i got it under 30 pound. Iam finding very good but its not fully gripping me like it did with Olly and Triangleface. I'm level 20 and have a few people to pick from. the fighting is great turn based attacks that you need to time to perfection to parry or just move out of the way with dodge. The Story is good and you are trying to take out the paintress who i take it is the main boss. I'm hoping to get it finished soon.

I have my next game ready to play and that's Silent Hill 2 on the ps5 I picked that up cheap on eBay so i can not wait to get stuck into it.

On the channel I have mostly been doing my Wishlist videos and I started Indie for Evercade a new series where I just look to find some great Indie games that I hope Evercade would take a look at. I have already made 4 episodes so far so I'm finding it great and love playing new games. The best thing about it these games are cheap like under 20 pound and you are helping out a developer along the way too.

Evercade 

its a hard one at the moment as we don't have much news and all we know so far is the two carts that are coming in February. Nothing else has come out at all its like they have taken January off to recover from all those games that come out in November. The pod has been hard to find great topics to talk about. I like that the pod has structure and we go through topics. I don't like to just go live and not know what we are going to talk about.

I have also started a new members only video section so that our channel members are getting there own content on the channel. I make the boys stay on and we record a one topic segment that only goes to the channel members. this is thank you for supporting us and helping us so we can do all those giveaways.

I'm trying something new.

Every month i want to try and write some words down on what I'm currently playing, enjoying and reviewing.

Being Dyslexic I need to try and work on it and i have always found it hard to write the words down that in my head to make them make sense. so a little blog on herte will be a great way for me to work on it and try to practice and something to look back on and see if it has helped.

This month I have tried to focus more on Indie games. I have two new shows on it. I do a round up on what games I like the look of that are coming out that month and i also, have a video on what indie games the Evercade should be looking to try and get on their platform. Indie 4 Evercade. I have added the page so please look out for it.

Not going to lie I have loved it so far this year, I have found so many great games that just need to be seen and played. The best thing is that these games are mostly under 20 pound so really easy to pick up.

 Please if you have time go and have a look. Here are some of the games I've been playing.

Cassette Boy!

Wow, what a game. It is like playing a old school Gameboy game but the key here is to rotate the view so obstacles are out of the way so you can proceed. It has a Zelda/Tunic vibe to it. Made by one of the Pal world developers so i knew it would be good.

Big Hops

Another great game i found but this one is more like a N64 3d world type of game. the camera is great and the controls are tight so its easy to make those jumps and swings that you need to. The demo was quite long so it really hooks you in. It just needs to be played so go and have a look on YouTube for my video.

Lovish

This is a great game and retro feel platformer that has you getting keys to unlock doors and go and save the princess (not like we haven't seen that before) Music, graphics and gameplay are a treat. It is not an easy ride some levels had me scratching my head and wondering what to do now. The boss battle is very challenging but rewarding so after about 20 hits and he goes down it a great feeling.

So, that's the end of my first blog. Wont be my last but it feels great to be trying something different and see how it goes. Right I'm off to spell check and see where i can improve Peace!!
